I really like to eat here, both with family, partners and friends. Very friendly staff, cheap and delicious!

First of all, the Johnnys is a sympathetically run, Asian buffet restaurant. I take the staff as extremely friendly and open-minded and it is one of the last of its kind, where you can get plum liqueur and fortune cookies when you say goodbye and have a nice chat with the staff. The new LED lighting has increased the charm a lot and the toilets seem very clean. I would like to emphasize that I am satisfied with the restaurant, which is why I rate it accordingly. But since I have already been to well over a dozen of these restaurants in the region, I will later focus on those aspects that could be improved. The buffet offer in short: - Grill: vegetables and meat as well as several marinades / sauces to grill (will be brought back to the table) - Meat dishes in dark and sweet and sour sauce (good quality for buffet). - Sushi - Small but nice salad bar (tomato-mozz. salad with cucumbers and peppers - very good). - baked duck and chicken breast - small spring rolls - Breaded chicken and fish strips as well as calamari rings, shrimp - fried vegetables and mushrooms etc. Beans - in addition to rice: fried noodles etc. Fried rice, French fries (good quality and seasoning) - baked banana, honey - Tiramisu (creamier than others) - Fruits: fresh pineapple, bananas m. Chocolate sauce, pickled apricots, honeydew melons - Jelly: green u. red - Chocolate fountain - Cream puffs, mini chocolate kisses. - 8-10 types of ice cream, whipped cream, 2 fruit sauces, 2 types of crumble In conclusion, it can be said that the buffet offer is on average large compared to the competition, but is particularly appealing due to its tasty sauce dishes and isolated highlights (tiramisu, TomMozz salad). Now to the potential for improvement: The marinades or sauces for the grill should be significantly thicker or more intense so that they stick to the food to be grilled. Actually this works almost only with the curry sauce and even this does not stick so well - there is only little taste on the meat. For reasons of space, the buffet offer can certainly not be expanded indefinitely, but in some corners it can be visibly polished up at almost no additional cost. So z. For example, you can either upgrade the quality of the breaded meat on offer by replacing the crumbly breadcrumbs with products with smooth batter, as this is easier to keep warm, looks more attractive and is generally tastier. The restaurant also needs more unique selling points. This can also differ from the typical Chinese, after all, chips etc. are also offered. Why not a ground beef dish? A pasta dish? A dough dish? A cheese dish? Pre-grilled, well-seasoned meat? Chicken wings? In the deep-frying area in particular, 1 - 2 boring buffet bowls could be filled with something special, which doesn't even have to be expensive when bought in the wholesale market. The main weak point of the offer is unfortunately the dessert. Although the products mostly taste good here too, the range on offer is somewhat poor compared to the competition. Unfortunately, the slightly unsuitable mini chocolate kisses and cream puffs often taste old. At this point, other dough products such as cakes, pies, muffins, brownies, but also sweets such as fruit gums would be ideal. Puddings (instead of vanilla sauces), rice pudding, fruit quark etc. would also be cheap, but great alternatives for a dessert buffet. Conclusion: Thanks to the nice staff and the recent visual upgrade, Johnny’s has a lot of potential to become one of the best buffet Asians north of Hamburg and the favorite buffet restaurant among friends. The basic structure is in place, but some improvements in the breadth and depth of the range are still necessary. Nevertheless, I rate the Johnny’s high because of its potential to set it apart from some restaurants of this type that are clearly overrated.

It used to be much more comfortable, you sit in the constant wind under the air conditioning. A plus point is the buffet, varied and tasty. Unfortunately, it is not being delivered quickly enough.

It's a strange name for a Chinese restaurant - you'd guess an American fast food restaurant. But the inside is now much more pleasant than the previously dark box, the service, as always, attentive and friendly and the food tastes good. Small point of criticism: The so-called Peking soup should be revised - you can almost only taste glutamate. There is one point deduction for this - otherwise everything is fine.

Our Asian of choice! So far we have never eaten on site, but even to take away the dishes are very lovingly and plentifully prepared. The duck is highly recommended, which is always the seal of quality with the Chinese. The kids love the noodles, which are also very tasty. Very friendly staff!

We came just before lunch and were allowed to eat from the buffet. Food was replenished. Mega nice and of course the food was delicious!

The very last time, never again. You can't understand the service through the masks, you can forget the menu, there's something else on your plate anyway. That's how it is ☹️☹️ Your reply is not entirely correct, and if NOTHING is noted on the menu in this regard and you hardly understand the service, nice but with a mask, I look forward to your comment with a grin. I've had this problem before, so I asked. So let's forget the whole thing, you don't want me as a guest, and I will voluntarily renounce another stay with you, even if I am invited, as this time. NEVER AGAIN

Next time, please be more customer-friendly and not just say the buffet is cold and you can go. After that, a lady came to me and repeated that the buffet was cold but I could still order by card, which I didn't do afterwards in protest because I wasn't welcomed with open arms. Otherwise food is great and I like to drive 40 minutes to Henstedt Ulzburg.

Friendly and brisk service. The food on offer was fresh and everything we tried from the buffet was extremely tasty. We will be back for sure!

The food was very good. The staff were too short. Even though they did everything continuously, we had to wait a long time for the food. The prices have risen and despite a generous tip there were neither fortune cookies nor bargains. A little disappointing, too bad.

I did not expect to see such an interesting culinary institution in this city. I was pleasantly surprised. Honestly - really enjoyed it. To say that it is Chinese cuisine here is a stretch, but it should be borne in mind that it is only stylized or rather assimilated with the local culture. Wishes for the owners of the institution - more to add stylized decorations. Bottom line: We were a large, diverse company - everyone liked it, from grandchildren to grandfathers. 😊

The first visit leaves us with a very good impression. Very appetizing food, wide selection. Everything freshly prepared. It is replenished very well. Friendly staff. There is nothing to complain about.

Buffet has unbeatable price quality ratio, food is fresh and service very speedy

Very affordable buffet for lunch and dinner where you get great value for your money. There is a wide variety of items to choose from; sushi, salad, appetizer snacks, various main dishes with shrimps, fish, beef, chicken and pork and various options for dessert. There was plenty space for lunch, can't say what it's like for dinner.

The lunch menu I can only praise. Selection always sufficiently available. Fresh and tasty. Appetizers to dessert, here everyone will find something to their liking. For example: Soup, salad selection, spring rolls etc. Meat and vegetables selection, fries, rice, used Noodle etc. Ice, b. Banana, cake, fresh fruit and chocolate fountain etc. Staff quickly clears the empty plates and asks if everything is OK. Friendly staff and fast service complete the entire visit. The ladies toilet and the entire premises are very well maintained and clean. Parking is sufficiently available and up to 2 hours free of charge

Great asian Food with good quality. Choose the buffet, you will not regret. Just new renovated this year (2017). All clean and nice. Ground Level also for handicapped guests.
